If you have already explored some websites of org consultancies, you probably have seen this or other variation of famous Deming’s PDCA cycle applied to consulting services. So, this simple loop:

Even though such a picture is quite widespread, it is not the way I think of my involvement with an organization.
So, how do I see it..?
You might have seen already an illustration of the impact of evolutionary change:
Every smallish J-cure represents a small improvement to the process of work. For that to be even possible, three factors are required:
- Stressor;
- Reflection mechanism;
- Leadership.
With every experiment, you have an opportunity to improve gradually improve your system. Initially, I can help to identify (or even create) stressors and feedback loops. But my goal is to teach you to go through this process.
Organizational assessment will help both me and you (as an organization) to better understand where you are at the moment. That understanding is required pre-step to start an evolutionary change. Kanban Maturity Model (KMM) is an effective cookbook or recipe list to help pick some stressors and reflection mechanisms according to your existing state.
The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) provides an excellent tool for the development of the last element of the formula. Organizational consultancy or strategic partnership is the glue to keep everything together β that’s overall the method described here.
