The initial version of this post was created in the middle of Spring, 2020, a time when the relevance of electronic tools is as high as ever because the whole World switched to WFH (working from home). However, it looks like remote work is not going anywhere, so it is still very relevant… I keep the list of tools updated.
I’ve decided to put an online list of tools, that I’m sharing after Kanban classes. When doing this, I added some information, and a few more tools, so it became relevant to put in the article. With that said, still, it is not intended to be a full list and/or mention all possible features/functions. It still contains a large portion of the subjectivity and personal preferences of the author.
- + long list of Kanban tools, kind of “full list in one place” (Limited WIP Society)
Even though I would not consider Atlassian’s Jira as a tool with Kanban support, the reality is that a lot of companies are using it in this way… And they struggle. In trying to solve some of the challenges, they are using multiple ways of improving Kanban support in Jira. A lot of them are adding this functionality on their own, but also there are some known solutions out there. I’m sharing here a few.
