Arguably, leadership is the most disputed and misunderstood area of knowledge. Often just confused with charisma or management duties… At the same time, several (actually many) leadership theories are available. What I personally like about The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), is that it combines a lot of great stuff instead of reinventing the wheel. Its founder, Bob Anderson, noticed early on that the field of leadership was a random collection of great stuff: a plethora of models, research studies, theories, and bodies of work, each aimed at explaining some aspect of human behavior, capability, or awareness that when applied to leadership promises greater effectiveness. Yet the field wasn’t integrated. None of the various models, theories, and research related to any others. Each used its framework and language. There was no universal model that tied everything together into one complete framework that explained what constitutes great leadership and how it develops.
LCP is a 3-in-1 tool that provides:
- 360 feedback mechanism – your leadership is assessed by the only people who could do it, those who You work with
- a comprehensive assessment of your leadership capabilities including management style and personality, competencies, and underlying tendencies presented in easy to understand manner;
- ultimate coaching tool – while results are easy to understand (not necessarily easy to accept), may not be easy to change as growing leadership skills require personal growth. The good news is that the process of getting there is well known, so with a little coaching help – one could do it!
There are tons of valuable information on the LCP website, please, check it for more information on LCP.
Considering you are measured within 29 dimensions, even though results are presented visually in an easily accessible way, You will need help understanding all of those. And, what is even more critical, is accepting it. As experience shows, results are always somehow shocking to a receiver. That’s why LCP always is administered and delivered by a certified practitioner.
