For effective training, the host must provide:
- a spacious room with windows (direct light), not less than 50 m2 (for a smaller group like 12), not less than 75 m2 (for a bigger group of 18)
- with mobile (movable) tables to work in groups of 4-6 people;
- 2 flip-chart stands and 4 rolls of paper (for a 2-day class) that fit flipcharts (could be used with these flip-charts);
- large monitor or projector;
- coffee and tea available in the morning (before class starts) and during various breaks (we can agree on timing if needed), notebooks, pens, and water for all participants;
- thin black markers for all participants;
- sticky-notes
- squares, 4 packs (of 4 blocks)
- rectangular, 4 packs (of 4 blocks)
It is important to agree with the landlord about the possibility of putting up posters on the walls of the room. We are using a special adhesive tape, leaving no unfortunate consequences on the surface of the walls.
Group size is different for different courses offered. Please, refer to specific training to know the exact numbers. Here are some explanations and logic behind.
Lower limit deals with the fact that there is a lot of work in pairs, small and bigger group exercises, collaborative learning build-in the course. In the case of a small group, it may affect the quality and feel of the class. The suggested minimum is 12, the total bare minimum is 8 (for some classes we may work with a smaller group by addressing it in class design, but this is the general rule of thumb).
